In spite of the wild and blustery night, many guild members and a few guests braved the elements to see and hear Patty Hawkins present her program,
"My Art Odyssey, Taking Twists and Turns." We weren't disappointed! She brought a few of her quilts to show and she presented a slide show (with photos of many more quilts) which highlighted her evolution as a textile artist. She talked about her philosophy of art, her family, her triumphs and missteps along the way, and gave us practical advice and encouragement to find our own styles. It was an inspirational program.
