Lisa Zahn's Euclid Avenue

This stunning and colorful quilt is a Modern Paper-Pieced design by Sassafras Lane Designs. Lisa says that Leslie Yale shared this technique and taught her the fundamentals for constructing the quilt. It was quilted by Lori Kukuk of McLouth, Kansas.

Spotlight on Quilts

The pattern is Diamonds, free from Jordan Fabrics. Kathy Sherrod made this beautiful quilt from scraps for her sister-in-law.

Nancy Taylor made this tree quilt using a free pattern from Jordan Fabrics. Though the pattern is for a Christmas tree, she made it for all seasons. The wall hanging is about 24" square and will be for sale at the next Trailridge Quilters sale.

August 2021 Picnic Meeting

 Meeting in person for a picnic was a welcome change from our many months of Zoom meetings, and the pavilion at Lake Estes Marina was the perfect spot on a perfect evening.

Disappearing Pinwheel

This guest room at our home contains a queen bed and two twins. Since the room has a   navy with bears wallpaper border at the ceiling, I decided to make blue quilts for all the beds. The queen bed's quilt is called Wickedly Easy, and I found the free pattern online.  The second quilt pictured is called Zipper quilt - the pattern is from Missouri Star. The last quilt pattern is from Man quilting, and it's a disappearing pinwheel.
