The November 11th Estes Valley Quilt Guild program is the “25th Anniversary Trunk Show” of SAQA, Studio Art Quilt Association. The 60+ diverse quilts created by SAQA members showcase a wide variety of styles, techniques, and fibers. Members will break into small groups to study the quilts with the aid of the “Viewing Artwork” guide. The collection offers a special opportunity to closely examine a wide range of styles and techniques. Eight trunk shows are travelling the globe until 2017 showcasing SAQA’s diversity of talent and its mission to “promote the art quilt through education, exhibitions, professional development, documentation, and publications.
